As Minnesota's online health insurance marketplace wraps up its second month in operations, MNsure officials said Monday that they hope to send crucial enrollment data to insurers this week.
Carriers have been eagerly awaiting the information to find out who and how many Minnesotans want to buy their plans. Even though MNsure began operating Oct. 1, insurers have been waiting since then for detailed information that will allow them to complete a customer's enrollment process and issue a policy.
The data typically include the number of consumers that enrolled in a carrier's plans as well as individual data such as subscriber's name, ID, and eligibility and benefit information.
MNsure officials also confirmed that website was not working Saturday after maintenance work Friday night. The repair was completed late Saturday. MNsure is normally closed on Sundays.
