Theater photographer Scott Pakudaitis' side split when he saw "A Very Die Hard Christmas" a few days ago. The creation of "Mainly Me Productions" and "Dana Boys," this spoof of the Bruce Willis franchise and virtually every holiday TV special ever made, somehow still didn't come across as campy to Scott. Through Dec. 22 at the Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis.

The psychic burden of winter was lifted for Twin Cities art therapist Nicola Demonte when he saw "Snowflakes" at Gallery Paige in downtown Minneapolis. Artist Paige Dansinger designed an app which enables her to draw snowflakes with her finger on an ipad. She then projects the snowflakes on the outer facade of the Minneapolis Skyway during the Holidazzle parade. Through Dec. 21.
If you require sincerity, authenticity and originality in your music, and Bethany Valentini does, you'll probably dig Vermont singer songwriter Anais Mitchell. Bethany, one half of the duo "The Ericksons," says Anais Mitchell will be in St. Paul on Dec. 19 for the Real-Phonic Radio Hour at the James J. Hill Library.
