Public officials have been meeting privately in recent weeks to discuss options for the Southwest light rail project. Now the Metropolitan Council will hold public meetings to gather citizen views about the line and its controversial route.
The meetings, sponsored by the Met Council and facilitated by Grassroots Solutions, will focus on studies currently underway of freight rail, water resources and landscaping in the Kenilworth Corridor area of Minneapolis.
