Tuesday is the first day of spring semester classes at the University of Minnesota and school officials will be touting new safety measures in the wake of recent crime on and off campus.
The student government also will debate the issue this semester. Mike Schmit, president of the school's undergraduate student government, joins The Daily Circuit to discuss what students can expect.
