David Mitchell, the critically acclaimed author of "Cloud Atlas" and "The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet," is coming to the Northrop Auditorium on April 9 for a free public talk.
Mitchell, who is noted for his versatility as a writer, has distinguished himself with everything from historical fiction to sci-fi to a coming-of-age novel. As part of the talk, he'll offer the audience a glimpse into his upcoming novel, "The Bone Clocks," to be published in September.
The event is part of the grand reopening of the Northrop Memorial Auditorium, which has been under reconstruction for the past three years.
