Minneapolis police don't suspect child neglect after a 4-year-old boy was found barefoot in snow and freezing temperatures.
A KSTP-TV report says the boy flagged down a truck driver in pre-dawn hours Friday. Snow was falling and temperatures were in the 20s.
The driver stopped to check on the child. Then he called police, who picked up the boy and took him home.
Police say they can't release specifics because the case involves a juvenile, but they say they investigated how and why the boy left the house. They say they made sure there was no abuse or neglect, and they believe the boy won't leave the resident again.
Police say Hennepin County Social Services will likely follow up with the parents, who haven't been charged.
