Sen. Al Franken, who is running for re-election this year, has released the first ad of his campaign.
It's running statewide and features Blaine-based Top Tool owner Elizabeth Abraham.
The spot is called "3.5 Million Jobs" and is meant to highlight Franken's legislative efforts to train workers.
Franken has four potential opponents, including businessman Mike McFadden who has already paid for two ads.
UPDATE:
McFadden started running his second ad today.
