Wis. judge strikes down same-sex marriage ban

A federal judge in Wisconsin stuck down the state's prohibition on same-sex marriage late Friday afternoon. Clerks in two Wisconsin counties started issuing marriage licenses that day.

At least one more country will start issuing licenses today. But same-sex marriage opponents say weddings are premature pending an appeal of the ruling. Wisconsin's Republican Attorney General says he will appeal.
