Our weather looks pretty nice for tonight and Friday before thunderstorms fire up late Friday. Warm temperatures are in store for Saturday and Sunday. Dew points will be on the rise and it should feel more like summer.

That's not too bad. The way I see it, we paid our dues in the winter and with the rainy June. It's a different picture this holiday weekend in other parts of the country.
On the East Coast, Hurricane Arthur gains momentum.

Arthur is close enough to shore to depict the nicely formed eye on weather radar.

STORM INTENSITY WAS 90 MPH.

HURRICANE ARTHUR WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON
THEN TURN TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AND INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED
