Twin Cities residents may notice their local Rainbow grocery stores are starting to change hands. Three former Rainbow stores -- in Uptown Minneapolis, St. Paul, and St. Louis Park -- re-open today as Cub Foods.
Earlier this year, Milwaukee-based Roundy's announced it was leaving the market and selling 18 Rainbow stores. Those stores went to Supervalu, Lund Food Holdings, and other local buyers.
