A fatal crash in Fridley early Monday morning killed a motorcyclist and has closed the ramp from I-694 eastbound to East River Road.
The crash took place at 2:31 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The driver has not been identified, but was riding a 2002 Suzuki Road-Street, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The state patrol report does not list any other vehicles involved.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation website, the ramp was still listed as closed around 6:30 a.m., and a MnDOT traffic camera shows the ramp blocked by trucks displaying orange merge arrows.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash, according to the state patrol.
