"Hallberg's Picture of Health" is a new podcast from MPR News that offers an expanded version of MPR News host Tom Crann's weekly conversations with medical commentator Dr. Jon Hallberg on health and health care.

In the debut episode, the tragic death of comedian and actor Robin Williams has put the problems of suicide and depression back in the news. Hallberg talks with Tom Crann about the mental pain of depression, the signs suicidal people often exhibit, and how doctors respond to them in a clinic setting. He also discusses the stigma that's still attached to depression as an illness, and what doctors, not just psychiatrists, can do to treat it.
