2605 Hennepin Avenue is being reborn under the name "The Phoenix Theatre."
It will be managed by a newly formed nonprofit organization called "The Arts Nest." A website for the organization is under construction.
According to a release, the space is being remodeled to make it more suitable as a rental venue for theater, dance and performance art.
The space is scheduled to reopen in November and will feature regular Tuesday night cabarets, as well as productions by visiting companies and shows nurtured by "the nest."
