Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell visited the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School on the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe reservation Tuesday afternoon.

The school is one of 183 schools funded by the Bureau of Indian Education. BIE-funded schools are among the lowest-performing nationwide.

Jewell speaks up with Tom Weber on her visit, and on what her department can do to better support tribal schools.
