Dorset House restaurant is one of four restaurants in the north central Minnesota hamlet that bills itself as the restaurant capital of the world.
There are now only two. The restaurant burned to the ground overnight, possibly because of a lightning strike during the outbreak of severe storms.
The nearby Compañeros was also destroyed.
“We’re just lost,” Dorset Restaurant owner Laura Kempnich tells the Park Rapids Enterprise. “We don’t know what to do.”
