The US Supreme Court officially opens its October Term today. Supreme Court associate justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was in Minneapolis September 16, 2014 to participate in the University of Minnesota Law School's Stein Lecture series.

Justice Ginsburg spoke with professor and former dean Robert Stein about the operations of the court, some of its history, her role on the court, and some of the recent controversial rulings.
