Today's Morning Edition music features "Edge Of A Broken Heart" by Vixen. The all-female band started in St. Paul in 1973 and toured with acts like Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi and Kiss. They earned a gold record in 1988.
Jan Kuehnemund started the band and played guitar in it. A collection of Kuehnemund's guitars, stage clothing and other Vixen memorabilia are on display this week at the Minnesota History Center. The items were donated to the center by her family after Kuehnemund lost her battle with cancer last year.
