Look closely and you can probably tell Laura the dog is blind. The other eye is the same way.
“I think a lot of these dogs could run with their eyes closed and just feel where they’re going,” owner Kelly Maixner, a Bismarck, North Dakota native, tells KTUU.
He and his team are in 51st place in the 1,000-mile Alaska race as of this afternoon.
