The University of Minnesota Gophers women's basketball team has earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009.
They play DePaul in the first round on Friday.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about how the team made it into the tournament despite injuries to important players.
