Patricia Kopatchinskaja has been called the most exciting violinist in the world.
The young Moldovan violinist is the daughter of folk musicians, drawing attention for her fire, warmth and classical chops.
Kopatchinskaja electrified the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra audiences last year when she came for her first concerts as an artistic partner with the orchestra. She's in town for her second set of concerts with the ensemble this week.
Kopatchinskaja joined MPR News' Tom Weber in studio for conversation and music.
