Candidates in the United Kingdom's general elections are making their final pitch to voters this weekend.

The election is next Thursday and Europe is keeping a close eye on the fortunes of Prime Minister David Cameron's ruling coalition. Polls show a very close race between Cameron's Conservative Party and the main opposition Labor Party.

John Prideaux of the The Economist joined MPR News' Kerri Miller to give us the latest.
