Authorities have captured two of three inmates who escaped from a minimum security prison in New Richmond in western Wisconsin on Wednesday night.
The three inmates escaped at about 10:15 p.m. from St. Croix Correctional Center.

Acting on a tip, officers with the Whitewater Police Department arrested Kyle John Peterson, 19, at a Whitewater, Wis., home at about 7 a.m. on Friday, according to New Richmond Police Chief Mark Samelstad. Peterson is being held at the Walworth County jail.
Approximately eight hours later, Andre Lee Vance, 21, was arrested in Madison after the New Richmond police sent information to authorities in Madison. Vance is being held in the Dane County Jail in Madison.
Police are still searching for Jesse Jamal Fairley, 26. Samelstad said Fairley is not believed to be in the New Richmond area.

New Richmond is in western Wisconsin, about 16 miles northeast of Stillwater, Minn. The St. Croix Correctional Center houses the Challenge Incarceration Program, a voluntary rehabilitation program that emphasizes physical activity, manual labor and discipline.
The facility has a daily average of 125 inmates, according to the most recent Wisconsin Department of Corrections annual report.
