Minnesota lawmakers ended their regular session at midnight last night. They were still passing the final components of that $42 billion budget in a flurry of rapid votes.
Here is how the Minnesota House passed the final budget bill in the final minute of session at 11:59 p.m. last night:
Legislators adjourned for now, but not for long. At least one of those many budget bills is likely to be vetoed.
Gov. Mark Dayton says the education funding bill doesn't fund universal preschool for all 4-year-olds, which was a top priority for him this year.
