Today's Morning Edition music is from the Replacements with a live performance of "Alex Chilton."
It's the last song they played at their show in Portugal on Friday night and it could be the last song that the band ever plays live.
According to Pitchfork, Replacements leader Paul Westerberg announced at the show that it would be the last time the band played together.
Another sign that Westerberg is tired of the reunion tour could be the T-shirts that he wore on stage. They were printed with a message that had letters missing like a rock and roll version of Wheel of Fortune. Fans have deciphered the message to read: "I have always loved you. Now I must whore my past."
