Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry turns 70 years old today.

Harry and her bandmates were pioneers in the New York punk scene of the 1970s, centered around the infamous CBGB nightclub.

The band enjoyed a fair amount of success on the pop charts and continues performing today. Last Saturday, they opened for Morrissey at Madison Square Garden in New York.
