Minneapolis will again host Red, White and Boom, a two-day celebration that attracts more than 60,000 people annually. The celebration, which spans Friday and Saturday, features music, food, entertainment and fun for the whole family on the Minneapolis Riverfront. A half-marathon and 5K run are scheduled. Events featured on Friday include a performance by musician Chris Koza and a 7 p.m. screening of Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory at the Nicollet Island Amphitheater.
