Eivind Heiberg, new consul general of the Royal Norwegian Honorary Consulate General in Minneapolis, will serve the nearly 900,000 Minnesotans with Norwegian roots. Heiberg, 44, was born outside of Oslo and came to the U.S. when he was 18 to attend Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.
He's hoping to help younger Minnesotans with Nordic roots connect with their heritage. Play the story to hear more about Heiberg and the new Norway House.
