University of Minnesota police have arrested a suspect they believe is responsible for the incident that shut down Coffman Memorial Union Monday.
In a statement, university officials said campus police on Tuesday apprehended the suspect, who is in the Hennepin County Jail awaiting charges.
The university closed the student union after a "suspicious bag" was found late Sunday night. University officials have not said what was in the bag.
