Physician Sheri Fink gives a Chautauqua Lecture about her book, "Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital." She won a Pulitzer Prize for her reporting on the hospital workers and patients struggling to survive after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in late August 2005. Dr. Fink explains the hidden dilemmas of end-of-life care, and reveals how ill-prepared we are for the impact of large-scale disasters and how we can do better. She spoke at the Chautauqua Institution in August 2014.
