Twin Cities singer/songwriter Jeremy Messersmith has built a loyal following over the past few years, but now his fame has reached a new level.
A State Fair entrant has painstakingly glued seeds from different types of plants to create a seed-art likeness of the musician.
The portrait is on display in the Minnesota State Fair's Agriculture Building, right next to a seed depiction of Jesus.
Messersmith isn't planning to perform at the Fair this year, but lots of other musicians will be on hand. Charlie Parr will play at the Schilling Amphitheater on the West End Friday night.
