Low's 'Ones and Sixes' enjoying much praise

Today's Morning Edition music features "Congregation" by the Duluth-based trio Low. The song is featured on "Ones and Sixes," which was released last week and is the band's 11th album.

The album is enjoying much praise.

• "The album is assured and seductive, to the point that the despair underpinning so many of the songs isn't immediately obvious," writes critic James Reed of The Boston Globe.

• "These disconcerting melodies seep into the subconsciousness and take out a room for months at a time," writes reviewer Greg Kot of Sound Opinions.
