Do people have the right to remove unflattering or incorrect information about themselves online?
It has been a little over a year since the EU ruled that people have the "right to be forgotten" from search engines, but Google's appeal against a global enforcement of the right to be forgotten was struck down Monday by the French data protection regulator.
In an Intelligence Squared debate, those in favor of the right to be forgotten argue that it protects individual's privacy rights, while others say that the decision censors free speech and disrupts the free flow of information on the Internet.
