The Minnesota Timberwolves play the Denver Nuggets on the road Friday night.
It's the team's second game since their head coach and president of basketball operations and part owner of the team Flip Saunders died at the age of 60.
And on Saturday, the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher football team takes the field against Michigan with an interim head coach after Jerry Kill resigned earlier this week.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke wtih Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about those teams as well as the Minnesota Vikings, who take on the Bears in Chicago on Sunday.
