Today's Morning Edition music is from "Wedding" by the Minneapolis-based band Polica, from their new album "United Crushers."

It's clear from the video that this song is the band's statement about the ongoing controversy over police tactics.

This week, Polica will be playing a series of sold-out shows at the Turf Club, 7th Street Entry and First Avenue.

The new album comes out Friday, but you can hear it now on the First Listen page at NPR.org.
