Michael Jackson's pet chimpanzee Bubbles was in the studio during the production of Jackson's 1987 album "Bad."

What Bubbles saw in the studio will be part of a new film in the works by producer Dan Harmon. Harmon made the stop-motion animated film "Anamolisa," which was nominated for an Academy Award.

According to "Deadline Hollywood," Harmon will use the same technique to tell Jackson's story from the point of view of his pet chimp.

Bubbles lived with Jackson at Neverland Ranch starting in 1983. He now resides at the Center for Great Apes sanctuary in Florida.
