Every Thursday, MPR meteorologist Paul Huttner joins Kerri Miller to talk about the latest research on our changing climate and the consequences we're seeing here in Minnesota and worldwide.

Climate change has not been a major focus of either the candidates for president or the media covering their campaigns. MPR host Kerri Miller talked to a Republican climate scientist and a former member of the White House Climate Change Task Force about why the climate isn't coming up more on the campaign trail. They also fact-checked some of the statements that candidates have made on the issue.

Kerri's guests were Paul Bledsoe, president of Bledsoe and Associates and a former climate official in the Bill Clinton White House; and Richard Alley, Professor at the Department of Geosciences, and Earth and Environmental Systems Institute at Penn State University.
