What has Krista Tippett learned from 13 years of interviewing scientists, theologians, poets, activists and more?
The creator of "On Being" shares her experiences in her new book, "Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living."
On April 5, Tippett sat down with MPR News host Kerri Miller for The Thread Live, a series of in-depth interviews with influential authors.
"We use this phrase 'old and wise,' and actually, everybody doesn't grow wise — some people just grow old," Tippett said. "It's not synonymous with age, although there is something so precious about a person who has lived a long time. ... But I think wisdom is accessible at all different points of life."
