We had a wonderful weekend in the Twin Cities, with a high of 80 on Saturday and 79 on Sunday. There was plenty of sunshine and it was great weather for outdoor activities.
But we need some rain!
We've seen only .15 inch of precipitation at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport so far this month. That includes the water content of the light snow that fell on April 8. Our precipitation total through April 17 was 1.22 inches below normal. We have seen only about 11 percent of our normal precipitation total so far this month.
Rain is coming
