Some of us are scrambling to find our sunglasses, since it has been mostly cloudy since Monday afternoon.

Our morning sunshine will give way to a cloud/sun mix this afternoon. Highs will be in the 50s over northern Minnesota, with some lower 60s over the south today.

A cold front moves over Minnesota tonight, followed by a shower chance on Friday:

Chilly and breezy Saturday

Lows Saturday morning will be the 20s over northern Minnesota, with 30s in the south:

Before you go to bed Friday night, it would be a good idea to cover outdoor plants that are vulnerable to frost or freezing temperatures. You might also want to bring hanging plants indoors.

Highs for the Minnesota fishing opener on Saturday will be cool:

You can expect highs in the 40s over northern Minnesota, with 50s over the south.

It will also be breezy on Saturday, with winds gusting over 20 mph at times.

Our average high temperature this time of year in the Twin Cities is 68 degrees. We probably won't see high temperatures rise above normal in the next 7 days.
