Today's Morning Edition music is from the Jayhawks with "The Devil Is In Her Eyes," off their new album "Paging Mr. Proust."

The band will talk about the new album and perform some of the songs on The Local Show, which airs on our sister station The Current at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Last month MPR's Cathy Wurzer had the chance to chat with lead singer Gary Louris about his recovery from addiction to painkillers and alcohol. He discussed why addiction is a common problem for musicians.
