NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch until 10 pm tonight for most of southern Minnesota. The watch includes the Twin Cities metro area.

* TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

SOUTHERN MINNESOTA

* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 235 PM UNTIL

1000 PM CDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...

A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE

ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER

POSSIBLE

ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

SUMMARY...AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTHWARD...CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE

TO BECOME INCREASINGLY FAVORABLE FOR A COUPLE OF TORNADOES ALONG

WITH HAIL/WIND THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.
