Facebook is making some big changes to your News Feed.
It's tweaking the algorithm used for how posts are displayed, with those by friends and family given prominence over posts from pages you like.
Given that so many of you come to MPRnews.org from Facebook, we wanted to make sure you know how to keep our posts showing up in your feed.
It's just a couple simple steps you can take on your phone, tablet or desktop. Here's how it works:
Turn Up Your Support
MPR News helps you turn down the noise and build shared understanding. Turn up your support for this public resource and keep trusted journalism accessible to all.
If you're on a phone or tablet...
It should look something like this.
If you haven't actually hit the "Like" button yet, do that first. Then click the "Following" button and choose "See First."
Then, you're done. It's as simple as that.
If you're on a desktop or laptop...
Hover your cursor over the "Liked" button after liking the page if you didn't already.
Then, head down and hit "See First" Under the "IN YOUR NEWS FEED" menu.
Again, that's it. Pretty simple.
Follow the same process for any pages you'd like to keep seeing.
Whether you do this or not, you'll still see some posts from pages — they'll just show up less frequently.
We want you to keep reading, viewing, listening to and sharing content from MPRnews.org — our work is free and we don't block it with a paywall for a reason.
We hope this guide is useful, and we'll be sure to keep you updated if anything changes.
