Today's Morning Edition music is based on "Bridge of Song," a community sing-a-long tonight at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in downtown Minneapolis.

A similar community sing will be held at the same time in Dallas. The idea is to bring together two communities that are both dealing with the aftermath of tragic events.

There will be a live video hook-up and at one point people in both cities will sing together.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Brian Newhouse about the sing-a-long. He is the managing director of MPR Classical, one of the groups organizing the event.
