Twenty-six year old Jovonta Patton is making waves this summer.
He's a singer based in North Minneapolis, and his album 'Finally Living' hit No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel charts last week.
What's remarkable is that he has no record label behind him. So how did he top the charts without that support?
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with him about that and his journey to number one.
