The St. Paul City Council will vote on an ordinance mandating paid sick time for employees at the end of the month.
The city is following in Minneapolis' footsteps on this front. Council members there approved a similar measure at the end of May.
It's a contentious issue across the board, and many are concerned about business and job growth if the ordinance goes through.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with St. Paul City Council member Chris Tolbert who supports the change overall. But he's expected to propose some revisions at a council meeting tonight.
