Today's Morning Edition music is "1922 Blues from Wisconsin native Phil Cook.
Cook will be one of more than 50 acts playing the big Eaux Claires Music Festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin this weekend. Other acts include Bon Iver, Erykah Badu, Lucius and Har Mar Superstar. Upwards of 20,000 people are expected to attend.
Severe storms blew through the festival grounds last year, destroying tents and causing many to shelter in their cars. This year's weather, however, looks beautiful with little chance of rain.
This Phil Cook song is actually a cover of "1922 Blues" by Minnesota musician Charlie Parr. It's on Phil Cook's latest album, "Southland Mission."
