The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning valid until 8 p.m. for northwestern Rice county, northern Waseca county, and southeastern Le Sueur counties of southern Minnesota:

NORTHERN WASECA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
SOUTHEASTERN LE SUEUR COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
* UNTIL 800 PM CDT
* AT 357 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA. LOCALIZED TOTALS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
ALREADY FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.
* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
