Minnesota United FC is moving up to Major League Soccer for the 2017 season. MLS Commissioner Dan Garber announced the decision last Friday.

The move is contingent on a new stadium being built just west of downtown St. Paul. The team will play at the TCF Bank Stadium until that new stadium is ready.
