About a dozen people were injured when a suburban commuter bus crashed with two other vehicles in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened near the intersection of 12th Street South and Harmon Place shortly before 8:30 a.m. It involved a bus that's part of the Plymouth Metrolink system, according to a city spokesperson.

Minneapolis police spokesperson Sgt. Catherine Michal said the bus crashed with a car and then swerved into a parked postal van.
She said multiple ambulances were called to the scene.
"All three of the drivers were transported to local hospitals," Michal said. "Eight to 10 people that were on the bus were also transported to HCMC or North Memorial with minor injuries."
All of the injuries were minor and non-life threatening, according to Plymouth transit administrator Luke Fischer.
"First and foremost, our thoughts are with the Metrolink riders that were on the bus today," Fischer said. "We understand that it was upsetting and frightening for all those who were involved."
Metro Transit police are investigating the crash, Fischer said.
