Fmr. Ventura spokesperson: Experience vs. idealogues for Trump Cabinet

President-elect Donald Trump has named Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus as his chief of staff and Breitbart News executive Stephen Bannon as his chief strategist.

These are the latest in a long series of decisions that Trump will be making as he transitions from outsider candidate to president of the United States.

Since Trump has never held elective office and was not supported by many leaders of the Republican Party, he does not come into office with a big team of experienced government professionals.

Reform Party candidate Jesse Ventura was in a similar position when he was elected governor of Minnesota in 1998. One of the people who helped him with the transition was John Wodele who served as Ventura's communications director. He spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer.
